I have always had compliments on my feet ever since I was young - I'm still young btw, only 26 years old ;-) People, (especially men) often stare at my perfectly manicured and well kept feet. My mum (that's 'mom' for my US fans x) always told me to put my best foot forward and I took that literally. She also showed me how to exfoliate and massage my feet daily with oil so they would remain soft and supple. My feet have since taken on a 'life of their own' and travel the world on exciting adventures, that's when they are not being pampered daily with foot spas and bubble baths 🛁 😉.
