My name is Alina, and I'm living my dream (and sometimes my struggle!) as an art student here in the most beautiful city in the world, Paris. By day, you can usually find me covered in charcoal and paint, trying to bring my visions to life on a canvas in my small, sun-drenched apartment in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It's a chaotic, beautiful mess, much like myself. I moved here from a smaller town with a big dream of becoming a painter. Paris has my heart completely. I'm one of those people who can just wander for hours – getting lost in the cobblestone streets of Montmartre, finding a quiet corner in the Jardin du Luxembourg to read, or spending an entire afternoon getting inspired at the Musée d'Orsay, staring at the Impressionists and wondering how they captured light so perfectly. My art is everything to me; it's how I process the world, my emotions, and my experiences. So, why am I here? Honestly, art supplies are expensive, and Paris isn't a cheap city to live in. This page started as a way to support my passion and help me afford more canvases and better quality paints. But it's become so much more than that. It's become my secret diary, a place where I can explore a different side of my creativity and sensuality. It's a world away from the quiet, focused artist I am in the studio. Here, I can be playful, wild, and completely, unapologetically myself. It's liberating. When I'm not studying or painting, I'm probably curled up with a good book (I'm a sucker for classic literature and dark fantasy), trying to find the best espresso martini in Le Marais with my friends, or just people-watching from a café terrace. I'm an introvert with an extroverted streak, meaning I love deep, one-on-one conversations but you probably won't find me at a huge party. What can you expect here? This is my private gallery.
